( 3 / 234 )Working to finish up some brushing and to get signage completed before rideable snow. 2 members on Sat. with a couple of younger helpers. (S71B) 10-1:30
Had to work at a paying job today, couldn't join in the fun. Still had a couple of crews out trying to get signage completed in a couple of different areas. Northern end of S71A and getting started on S71F.
As mountable snow approaches, please remember TRAILS CLOSED under 6" of snow! And until the END of DEER SEASON!
Look back soon!

( 3.3 / 302 )Took advantage of some of the better weather left on Saturday to get some more signing done on S71A, and to remove some hidden trail hazards!
2 members 10-3:30
Spent the day signing and fencing off some restricted areas. One crew on the northern end of S71A, one on the southern end of S71A and one on S71B
5 members 9-1:30
And again, please remember: Trails CLOSED under 6" of snow and in the event of snow trails are CLOSED until the END of DEER SEASON!
Look back soon!

( 3.1 / 222 )Worked on signing in a couple of different areas, one crew signing with a small re-route off Upper Dutch Hill Rd (S71A) to keep trail farther away from houses and off the road. One crew signing and brushing around the Fly Creek area (S71A). And one crew signing with a small trail change to avoid some side-hilling and a narrow section of trail to make it more open and passible (S71A-S71E).
Again, please be aware of trail and signing changes. These changes are made for safety and to provide for a better riding experience, not to mention that sometimes to keep the landowners happy, by keeping the trail out of their door-yard!
And a special thanks to our members that spent the greater part of this extended holiday weekend selling raffle tickets at the Mall to help out with our trail maintenance fund! Cheers!
Remember: TRAILS CLOSED UNDER 6" OF SNOW! And do not officially open 'til after deer season!
Look back soon!

( 2.8 / 338 )The last couple weekends were spent, pretty much getting our yearly signing program under way. Did some minor brushing while putting signs out. As of this weekend, we have basically one month left before trails open, providing we get enough snow to open them. (THINK SNOW) and remember, *OUR TRAILS ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED UNDER 6" OF SNOW* to protect the property of our landowners.
We also have a bridge on S71A left to put in and weather permitting, a culvert left to install on S71F, which should finish up the bigger projects marked for completion for this year.

Look back soon!
