And a SPECIAL THANKS to those that made this happen!
As you are heading toward St Hwy 205 on S71A from Milford, the approach side of the bridge has a lot of surface water due to the recent snow melt and heavy rains, we can only hope for this year anyway, that we can get some deep freezes to tighten this area up a bit.
Think Snow!
Look Back Soon!

( 3 / 326 )Hope everyone had a happy holiday season! Was busy around the holidays trying to get some of my own stuff caught up and a few other club items taken care of.
Have been caught up with by the DEC about riding in and through the State Land area around Arnold's Lake. Through numerous conversations and meetings with the senior forester, we are allowed a trail through. This is now in danger due to the fact people are using the cross-country ski-trail. This cannot happen, everyone must stay on the designated trail! We now have been allowed to sign this trail to eliminate any further confusion. So PLEASE STAY ON DESIGNATED TRAIL, we don't need this shut down and most of all, YOU WILL GET TICKETED AND FINED!, if caught on ski-trail or in a reforestation area.
Hopefully we will get our snow back and be riding soon!
THINK SNOW! TRAILS CLOSED UNDER 6" OF SNOW!
Look back soon!

( 3 / 279 )We pulled the groomers out of storage and will be getting them ready for when conditions permit. We have a new drag/planer being built as a project by our BOCES welding class under the tautilege of one of our members.
When groomers are out, please remember; STATE LAW- YEILD TO GROOMERS, THEY HAVE the RIGHT OF WAY!

( 3.1 / 269 )Maybe problems posting are too much content or just timing out, will investigate!
Work crews were out Sat. and Sun., trying to get signage completed, mostly remaining on trail S71F.
The entry off of the seasonal road to the State Land pond was blocked by the DEC to prevent four wheel drive vehicles from going in to the pond area and using it as their own mud pit! The DEC has allowed us to make an opening, but has limited us to just over 5'. Please use CAUTION here. I went up to add another sign for safety in both directions and someone has already hit and/or purposely bent one of the posts marking off the man-sized rocks used as a barricade! Trails don't officially open until 12/19! Again USE CAUTION here!
Look back soon!

( 3 / 229 )Still having posting problems, have written this thing out 6 times and it drops it everytime.
Bridge off Cnty 44 will be closed for the season, unless we have some unexpected summer like weather after the holidays. The local farmer still has corn on both sides of the bridge and we do not have the deck on. The re-route is marked, use Extreme Caution crossing the road bridge due to limited visibility!
RESPECT LANDOWNER and STAY on TRAIL!
