Update 16-Feb-10
I think the last winter that presented itself this way, was the winter of '96-97. It was the year we picked up my wife's '96 XCR, we had our thaw and winter never returned here south of the thruway. The only way we got any miles on it that year was to trailer north the rest of the season.
We've had the promise of a couple of good snows... are there any trails open south of the Mason-Dixon? Today was forcasted for a little more, but the warm temps, kind of held the accumulation down. Snow wasn't even sticking to the vehicles most of the day. So much for our would be "clipper"!
On another note, since our thaw, our beaver problem has made a bit of a comeback with water running acrossed C7E. First thoughts were that high water had even moved the bridge. With a quick inspection it appears to have stayed put.

Some of our trail crew managed to go out and wave their "water-B-gone" rods and got the water to recede back under the bridge. Hopefully, we'll be set for the rest of this winter, we'll keep an eye on it!

Look Back Soon!
Jim
